You may not know this but I
This sweet friend took pity on my family and gave me the following Slow Cooker Pork Roast recipe. I am here to attest that this is the simplest recipe and 97% Monica proof.
Why not 100%? Well, the first time I made it I sent her a text asking if I had to defrost the pork or could I just stick it in the crock pot. In case you were wondering, yes it must be defrosted. And then when I made it last night I panicked when I couldn't remember if I was supposed to add salt and pepper. I then decided if it wasn't written I should not do it. Good news, it was the right call.
Now do you understand how I
Slow Cooker Pot Roast
2-3 lb pork butt roast
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup apple juice
1. Massage pork roast with Worcestershire sauce and then pat the light brown sugar all over.
2. Pour apple juice in slow cooker and set pork roast inside and cover. Cook on low for 10 hours.
I love that I can't screw this up.
I love that it took 10 minutes to put into the crock pot before work.
I love that my husband who is not a crock pot fan, thinks this is good.
I love that it is a cheap piece of meat, so my husband tells me.
I love that I have most of the ingredients in my pantry.
I love that it reheats well.
I love that dinner was ready when we all get home.
Hope you love it too :)
