I would love to share some of my happy with you so today, September 17th, I'm giving away a seat in Becky Higgins 12-week workshop, Project Real Life, at Big Picture Classes.
I'm signed up for the class and cannot wait to spend twelve weeks, starting October 4th, with Becky. This last year I've had the joy of working with Becky during an exciting time for her business and am impressed with her thoughtfulness in everything she does. I'm excited for the opportunity to see more of "behind the scenes" Becky.
Here is a little more information from Big Picture Classes:
Class Description
Come join Becky Higgins for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend some time with her during the last quarter of 2012. As Becky goes about preparing for the holidays, organizing around her home and documenting her family's story along the way, she'll be sharing ideas to inspire you, tips to motivate you, and real-life suggestions on how to cultivate the life you want.
Whether you're a long-time Project Lifer or you're just now hearing about Project Life, you will love learning about the guilt-free philosophy behind this system of memory-keeping. While Becky will give you plenty to think about and do during the 12 weeks of this workshop, she firmly believes that there isn't a person that exists who "does it all" — and it should be the last thing that we expect from ourselves.
Becky's class includes:
● An exclusively-designed set of Project Life cards (3" x 4" and 4" x 6") that will not be available anywhere else!
● Access to a pre-classroom with a presentation from Becky upon registration for class
● Colorful instructional handouts with step-by-step instructions for each lesson/project
● Voice messages, slideshows and videos throughout class
● Three live chats with Becky
● Welcome notes from Becky in the classroom
● Reminder emails when the classroom is updated with new materials
● Message board to share your thoughts with your classmates
● Private posting gallery to share your work and view the work of your classmates
● Supply list with live links to product resources
Becky has also talked about what to expect here and here.
How do you become the lucky winner? Leave a comment here telling me the number one thing you do to cultivate a good life by midnight Thursday. Don't forget to include your email or I won't be able to give you your fabulous prize!
If you aren't the lucky winner keep in mind registration closes October 10th for the workshop.
Hope you are having a great day and happy September 17th!!
Monica

I cultivate a good life by enjoying a small daily moment with each one of my family members. 5 kids and 1 hubby.
I cultivate a good life by reminding myself to live in the moment and not to waste my time and energy worrying about what happened in the past or what is to come in the future because all of the worry in the world won't change the outcome.
I try to cultivate a good life by prioritizing quality time with my family.
I cultivate a good life by taking time for myself. I'm a better wife, mom (and even dog mom!) when I take a break and do things that are just for me - quilting, a pedicure, even a run to Starbucks.
I am cultivating a good life by exploring what makes me happy right now.
I cultivate a good life by always remembering to do what I love to do (we have enough things we 'have' to do)...and then to make time for those things I love.

The #1 thing I do each day to cultivate a good life is to spend the first 15 minutes of my day (after I've brewed my cup of coffee of course) reading my Bible and journaling. It helps me to keep perspective and priorities in balance.

I try to spend good quality time with both my remaining kiddos. Making memories that aren't necessarily the ones you photograph, but the ones they'll remember. My oldest are gone and those chances will be few and far between now. I have regrets with those two. I don't want to have regrets with these two I have left. marianne.reynolds@me.com

The thing that I do to cultivate a good life is I believe in the pay it forward theory. I try (when our budget isn't tight) to pay for someone's coffee in the drive through or someone's lunch. I have taken coffee to construction workers on a cold winter morning or delivered hamburgers in the summer. I have taken read magazines and books to the retirement community. I believe if you pay it forward it comes back ten fold!

I think part of cultivating a good life involves getting rid of the extra weight in our lives! Not just the physical pounds, but the extra weight of too much stress, too much regret, too much anxiety, too much guilt--the extra weight that keeps us up at night and that generally, we cannot do anything about. Letting go of that improves our health, our overall sense of wellness & help us enjoy & cultivate a rewarding life to the fullest and makes us more productive and happier people.

The #1 thing that I do to cultivate a good life~ wow! That's hard to narrow down. I guess that I'd have to say that I am really striving to live "in the moment". As a mom of a dozen children, being fully engaged as I interact with my husband and the children gives me a tremendous amount of joy, whether I am cooking, doing laundry, visiting with a family member, or training for my first half-ironman triathlon, living "present" and "in the moment" is super-key for me. (Using Project Life doesn't hurt either! *Love* PL!) Thanks for the chance to win!

Hello and thank you for the chance to win. I try to cultivate a good life by instilling an ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE in my children. So many things go unappreciated and I try to make my kids recognize all the wonderful things life has given to them. :)
I want to take Becky Higgins class because I want to learn how to cultivate the best life ever! I think her class will teach me things that I haven't thought of, haven't recgonized, or even haven't appreciated enough. Expanding my knowledge of anything and everything is currently my personal goal. If I had to pick a way I cultivate my life now it would be "giving back". I volunteer at a food pantry and it reminds me how fortunate I am to have a home, food and people who love and care about me. The biggest reward in life is doing things for others and seeing how you can make a difference.
Congrats to you! Taxes...that is challenging work. Thanks for the opportunity, I love reading all of the different responses. I am working on cultivating a good life by trying to not worry what others' opinions of me are. Life is too short for that. Some will like you, some won't, live your life!

I am cultivating a good life by learning to enjoy the little things that I often overlook due to the trying to balance it all 'perfectly' - Mom, wife, daughter, employee (new job with unrealistic expectations), housekeeper, team photographer... I have a friend going through dialysis that brought it home for me - time is precious.
I cultivate a good life by trying to prioritize my time well. No more wasting time on mindless activities. I strive to spend as much quality time I can with my family and take some time out for myself as well! Makes me feel like a whole person when I make these conscious choices!

So excited for this class - hoping that I will win the spot! I cultivate a good life by making sure that I'm a positive energy source for my family & friends. You get back what you put out - I try not to debit my karma card! :)
I try not to "Should" on myself-you know-I SHOULD do this, I SHOULD do that. There are things I need to do, or want to do, but should is a word that actually has a lot of guilt attached to it, and kind of sucks the fun out of life!
I cultivate a good life by being intentional about our family time at home, especially now while we have small children. I know as our children grow I will not be able to have as much control over our schedule, but the sweet time we spend together with no interruptions from the outside world is a blessing to me!
I cultivate a good life by trying to focus on the good stuff and letting the not so good stuff go. Striving for perfection and focusing on flaws is a waste of energy and causes you to miss out on some really great stuff.
I cultivate a good life by putting my phone down, turning the TV off, stepping away from my computer and getting unplugged in order to spend quality time with my baby and husband. Those other things can wait :)

There are so many things Ive changed lately to help us as a family to cultivate a good life. One big one has been having music play during the day instead of the TV - Simple - But it has made our home so relaxed and 'homely'.

I am trying to cultivate a better life by being more aware of the everyday things in our lives that may seem unimportant or boring (thanks to discovering Project Life!). My mom died in 1993 and my dad recently gave me all of her pictures and cards she saved over the years. I am organizing and scanning them. I wish there were notes with the pictures so would know how old my mom was, when the pictures were taken, etc. I want to leave good recorded memories for my children and grandchildren to enjoy in years to come. Thanks for a change to win! I would LOVE to take this class. jprichard39@yahoo.com

I cultivate a good life by really engaging with my boys when they open up to me. I put down what I am doing and give them my full attention...I know it wont happen much when they are older so I want to get as much as I can now!
