I really like this layout probably because I didn't use traditional Christmas colors. I used the T-Rex as a jumping off point and love it!
The chipboard is from my Studio Calico December Daily kit and I believe the patterned paper is from the Studio Calico kit, Handmade. I am using Ali Edwards 2011 December Daily 6x8 Overlays for all of my base pages.
I'm traveling for work today and tomorrow and looking forward to working on Days 4-6 when I get home. This morning I left Garrett with a very important job of being my December photographer while I'm gone. I'm looking forward to seeing if he 1) remembers and 2) what he captures. I'm hoping to have at least 4 images to pull together in a collage for one of the days.
My husband was asking how I was going to cover the days I'm gone and since I am focusing on telling a story a day I'm not too worried. Some days have multiple stories and I can choose when I tell the stories. Yesterday itself had three stories, 1) Garrett's letter to Santa, 2) Owen telling me that his nativity and angel were "petty" (translated pretty) and 3) Garrett decorating the tree while I was putting Owen down all.by.himself. Sunday was a good day rich with life.
Hope the start to your week was wonderful.
