The Courage

to move more.

This is my year. No more excuses. Follow through. One choice at a time. I deserve to be happy. I believe this.

Many theories floating around my head as to why I continually sabotage my efforts to be healthy. Mind games I play with myself. Mind games others have played with themselves at my expense. Mind games others have played with me. No more. I'm letting go of it all.

This is about me. This is about longevity.

I will not let my weight define me. I will honor myself. I will love myself. I will take this one choice at a time. I deserve to be happy. I believe this.

Drawing inspiration from my yoga practice I began on Monday I will make every choice in truth & love and let go of fear.

I will have the courage to move more.

I too am going to ACCOMPLISH my 30 lb weight loss goal. That's my word this year ~ accomplish ~ other than the weight loss, nothing big. Just getting my to-do list done everyday which will include: housework, office work, scrapbooking, (fun) computer time, organizing. I want to do this stuff everyday to make my life more balanced and not feel so rushed and behind. I'm planning on doing 15 mintues of each. And then repeating the 15 mins at least one more time.
I will be checking out your 365 pictures. And I was going to comment awhile back that I noticed your name right away in SS magazine :0)
Happy New Year!

This summer, I was really unhappy with a lot of things, including how I still had baby weight to lose. I finally decided to take control of what I could control: what I put into my body and the amount of exercise I do. Over the holidays, it's been hard to keep up with the exercise and eating better, but I'm excited to start the new year knowing that I can control those two things at least. All the best to you: be courageous, brave and like the Nike commercial, just do it! From the sound of things, there's a lot of us doing it right along with you.

Way to go! I'm so proud of you! I too, have set some goals to accomplish this year . . . nothing momentous, I just want to get in better shape to keep up with my kids. That, along with getting my act together and getting better organized, and walking closer with the Lord.

I'll be rooting you on every step of the way!
