Back to the Beginning

Here I am again; back to where I started.

The holidays took their toll on me but I am back to fight the good fight. However, this time I am not alone. Thank you everyone who has sent support; you add to my courage bucket.

I am excited that this go around I have two companions. My dear husband is getting up with me in the mornings. He goes off to the gym and I off to my studio for some yoga. Then there is my virtual friend Lee, a kindered spirit and my accountability partner.

I will not be posting weekly. In fact, I won't be weighing weekly. My objective for January is to create a habit and that has nothing to do with a number. So, I'll see you next month on the first Wednesday with another pretty picture,a new daily ritual of yoga and a new habit of eating smarter.

YAY!! NO NUMBERS. Truly, I think that's the key. Let's just try to feel better. I'm here for you, chickie, every step of the way :)

HA! That's what I'm talking about, no numbers! lol I'm going to start walking 30 minutes a day for my habit (and hopefully by the end of the month, I'm getting a lot further than I was when I started)!

I may just get on the scale to have my start weight, but I really HATE getting on there weekly - so much can change over the course of the month!

Way to go! Here's to a great month and forming a healthy habit! (It's just a number, anyhow . . . what matters is how you FEEL!)

I'm rooting for you and Lee! Sounds like you're off to a great start!

I hear ya, back to where I started. I'm back at 163. I hope to be down roughly 30 lbs, but it's not about the number it's about the look and feel of your body.

Comment on your post below: good idea not going back to try to recreate December. Just think now you'll be totally prepared to start next year, no prep work!
