Hi! I'm Monica, nice to meet you.

I started this little blog back in February because I was inspired by an old friend after catching up with her on her blog. Nine short months later my little piece of the world has had almost 4,500 visitors.

I am absolutely addicted to Stat Counter & Feedjit because I'm extremely curious as to who is out there. It is still hard for me to imagine that there are real live people who think I'm worth any of their precious time.

So, I'm going to ask you to indulge me. I would love to know where you guys are coming from and why. Please leave me a comment to this post:
  • Saying Hi
  • Sharing your blog if you have one
  • Letting me know what keeps you coming back

Even if you think I already know that you visit please indulge me. It doesn't make a difference if you are regular visitor or an every now and again visitor or someone who has just stumbled upon Without Filters. I'm just dying to meet you.

I have two alterior motives. The first is that I've just discovered a place where you can turn your blog into a book and think this would be so neat to have in such a book.

Second, I'm trying to decide if I want to move over to Typepad. Part of my decision making process is that I feel like Typepad is for serious bloggers and good or bad y'alls support validates me and spurs me to continue this venture. Knowing why you visit may give me insight into whether or not I'm "serious" enough to make the move.

So, there you have it I'm the kind of girl who is extremely nosy and needy. So sad but so true. What do you say?

I'm Deanna and we met during Library of Memories at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I blog on blogspot also as Fun Mama. I keep coming back to read your blog because I love how open and honest you are in your posts. I am still working on the courage to be open in such a public forum!

Hey Monica!! It's Christi - we worked together at Yum! in Louisville. I try to keep up with all your posts, but sometimes I can't keep up because you are such a dedicated blogger and blog so often!! So, I'd definitely say you are a "serious" blogger!! I enjoy reading about Garrett most of all, but I also love seeing all your creative scrapbook stuff too!! :-)

Hey! It's Lisa P. This is the only way that I can keep up with you on a regular basis with schedules so crazy. I have yet to delve into the world of blogging for myself, but follow a couple of them that are important to me.

Hi,
I'm Sara. I found you from some scrapbooking (link after link-perhaps starting with Stacey Julian?) and I've continued to come back because of your honesty and creativity.

I'm from Wisconsin but am a transplant in Utah. I have a semi-private blog because I write about the transition from life there to life here and don't want to overtly offend my neighbors. I'm happy to share it with you, but would have to find a way to do it other than in comments! :)

I've never looked into the difference between Typepad and Blogger. One of my favorite people has been on Blogger for over three years writing daily, so I think you can also stay with Blogger and be considered serious.

Keep it up, though, your blog is great.

I'm Lee and we "met" during one of the many BPS classes we signed up for ... can't remember which one! I really enjoy your blog because you write honestly and from your heart. You remind me what it's like to be a decade younger!
I have two blogs:
My Scrapbooking Blog: The Linar Studio
My Personal Blog: Lemons2Lemonade
I come back to see what's going on in your life, check on Garrett, see your great creative accomplishments and cheer on your weight loss!

Hi Monica, It's Fay. I just wanted to let you know that you are very inspiring in so many ways. That's why I keep coming back. Your scrapbook projects are very creative and you give me encouragement to make it through whenever I am down. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and stories of Garrett. I love reading all about his adventures.

Hi! I'm Tasha it's nice to meet you again. I came here because of BPS. I'm not sure if it was for Library of Memories or Have More Fun. I liked your blog right away and I was impressed by your candidness. I would come more often, but I get distracted and I'm over-subscribed. I came today because my feedjit showed someone had come over from your blog and I wanted to check it out. The first thing I thought is I should come over more often. I like how you put all of the BPS classmate links there. I only have a few up and now I don't remember where I put that info. I too am wondering about typepad, is it really that much better than free? Thanks for asking about us. I am always curious about visitors too. My blogging is way behind and I haven't created any freebies in ages. Take care.
