Project Life: Week 19

Project Life Weekly Share

Hello. I've just put three sunkissed boys to bed and am finishing off the last sips of a Big Red. It feels like summer.

Tonight I share the last of my completed weeks, Week 19. I've been busy printing pictures and filling in pockets but nothing that will be ready to share soon. It's all just a work in process right now. The last few weeks I've spent my extra time photographing, editing and posting my Project Life layouts. Now its time to get back to creating. And yes, the extra time really is that small that I can't do more than just that. :)

This week was fairly straight forward. I think I've really settled into techniques and habits that work for me. As predictable as that can be I find it comforting and hope that it brings some cohesion to my album.

I'm stamping more these days. I am so very thankful that in the great purge that came with my move from the craft room to a shared space with the kids I kept all my Stampin Up inks from y.e.a.r.s. ago. I've pulled them from my craft closet and moved them into the playroom. I think you'll be seeing a little more color in my stamping now.

I wanted to tell a longer, private, story about the picture with my oldest son so I used some Washi tape to bind together the picture and a 4x6 piece of cardstock. Very simple and fast. I added the Open Me label so I would remember I had the story back there.

One of my "new to me" favorite apps is Diptic. I love that I can make a collage of my iPhone pictures in my iPhone then process in Instagram. What a time saver.

Love all the bright sunny papers. Your washi trick is great, do they hold up well in the album?

Nirupama,

It looks like it is holding up. I also put a strip of tape on the inside to secure it a bit more.

How do you print your Instagram photos and what do you print them on? I have an android phone and won't have the iPhone until August.
