Tonight with adhesive in hand and a new blade on my trimmer I jumped in to tell today's story. It's really difficult to photograph at night so I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures.
I didn't have a picture to go with today's story so I played with Ali Edwards Holiday Word Art, my Studio Calico December Daily kit and a new package of American Crafts Thickers.
My journaling was inspired by Ali Edwards Thick Journal Lines.
Journaling: A few days ago Garrett saw a commercial that was emphasizing gift giving and he said "Don't they know it's not about gifts, there's more!" When I asked him what more he told me "Christmas spirit!" Today while walking to my car I could hear someone's car wouldn't start. I was in a rush but Garrett's words rang loud. I went to see how I could help & gave her my jumper cables. In the news I hear of random acts of kindness & it warms my heart. Garrett is right, there is more. This is the season of goodwill to men. He is such a special boy to know this at seven years old.
So happy to have this story down in the book. I'm excited to make time to get the rest of the stories we've been making in there as well.

I'm so glad someone else only has 4 pages done....me too....they are done in my head....just have to put them down on paper.....
It's so cute and so true! I love the holiday time, not just because of gifts but the spirit of the holidays and how joyful it can be.. I wish it was like that all the time.
