Getting All Wrapped Up

in the Halloween Spirit. Garrett & I had two lovely days on the couch together this week as a result of short lived stomach bug. He was a great patient & expert crafter. In order to pass some of the time we made over 30 Mummys. Yes, I mean "we" he would not allow me to glue so this truly was a team effort.

I really wish I could remember where I saw this idea first but it was among my random surfing & I can't remember which, if any, computer I bookmarked it on.

Garrett was so excited to take these to school for the Halloween Party today & I was so happy that his Mummy's craftiness pleased him so.

We used 2 rolls of streamers, some liquid glue & googly eyes all found at Walmart to wrap the Hershey Bars that I bought in bulk at Costco. All in all I'm guessing about $20 for the entire project. I used ribbon, cardstock, name stamp, & scallop punch from my stash.

In other craftiness I have a new layout up at Ella in celebration of Stacy Julian & Lain Ehmann's new book 20 Simple Secrets of Happy Scrapbookers. This book is simply adorable & full of great layout ideas.

Tonight is the great pumpkin carving at our house & tomorrow is full of party & trick or treating. Garrett's excitement is absolutely contagious & all I have left to say is Happy Halloween!!

love your pumpkin! We're nowhere near that creative in our house. I don't even think I've taken pictures of our pumpkins yet (oops)! Glad G's feeling better and that you've been productive at home. I think your lo at Ella's adorable!
