One of the Things I Love

about making new friends is that many times they inspire you to grow by simply being themselves. You are exposed to different points of view & expertise from each new friend you make. The last few weeks I've picked up a few new friends and I just know that I will be better for knowing them.

Since I have such a hard time not sharing fun things I will be introducing you to this fantastic group of women over the next couple of weeks.

First up on my list is Jodie McNally . I actually became an admirer of Jodie's work during the February Layout A Day Challenge that Lain Ehmann sponsors. I adore her eclectic but still clean style. Isn't this just adorable?? Now you see why I love her work.

Jodie designs for OScraps, that is her word art you see in the layout above, and I couldn't help but pick up some of her product to play with. I've played with digital before but I think this is the first one where I've actually used paper, brushes & shapes all at the same time!

The date is using Romeral Font which if you click on the name you can get for free! All the following are created by Jodie: the word art and turquoise paper is from Customer Appreciation Freebie , the paper used to mat the pictures is from Spunky Spring Add On Paper Pack , and the swirls are from Jodie's Sa-weet Sa-whirls . I also used from Designer Digitals Katie Pertiet's Ledger Grids Brushes & Stamps .

Hope you enjoyed meeting Jodie, I know I have!

This is one of my favorites I've seen of Jodie's too. Great choice! The colors and the jumble of words just look so HAPPY! I love it.
