Bittersweet

The Simple Scrapbooks Open Calls for May/June are up today with a deadline of November 30th.

This means that they have moved passed March/April issue and I will not have any layouts published. Oh well. I'd be lying if I didn't admit I was diappointed but I'd also be lying if I acted as though I didn't expect this to happen.

With that, I am excited that the open calls are up because I now have enough time before my Scrapbook Retreat next weekend to pull what I want to work on to submit and I will have a full weekend to work on submissions! I am also excited that the deadline is after Thanksgiving because this means there may be some extra holiday time to work on submissions.

So between Open Calls, Design Your Life, finishing Have More Fun, and Stories in Hand you should be seeing lots of crafting coming from me.
