Wednesday Weigh In

Beginning: 170.1
Gain/(Loss): (1.9)
Total Gain/(Loss): (6.2)

Biggest Changes: I walked and walked and threw in a little running :) I only missed two walks this week so that is FIVE days of walking/running two miles!! Also, I have started cutting down my portion sizes.

Here's what went well: I really am glad I've added the motion this week. I think its made a huge difference. Here is the fantastic part - I was able to get into my size 12 work pants. WOOOO HOOOOO Now do I have tons of room - no, they are a bit snug in the waist but they close!! Which is something they didn't do two months ago. Also, I had a Diet Cherry Limeade from Sonic and there was no lamenting that it wasn't the "real" one. I'm actually changing :)

Area for improvement: Keep up the motion, very important. I also think I need to continue cutting down my portion sizes since I think my body is adjusting.

Confessional: Even though I had good results this week the eating was a little out of control at times. We had company and that always leads to yummy food not to mention I'm stressing a bit between work deadlines and personal deadlines which makes me vulnerable to food. So, I need to make sure I keep my discipline when its tough to do so.

Good Job! Whoo hoo! I, however have fallen off the wagon :( No excuse other than packing..but getting back on track today! Just a tip, when you work out, you want to make sure you are getting enough calories, so the best thing is to go ahead and continue cutting back portions, but more throughout the day- like 3 meals and 3 snacks. I struggle with that- its like thats alot of food, but if you think about it, if its in small portions, then its not so bad...your body will constantly be burning and not going into starvation mode. KWIM? Keep it up!
