And in true Aggie Spirit our Aggie family would like to welcome one of the newest members of the larger Aggie family. Bill & Jessamy welcomed Jonathan into the world on 08/08/08 at 8:04PM at 8lbs 4oz. I do believe 8 is going to be this child's lucky number!
We have truly come full circle in our friendship. Bill & Jessamy supported us in Kentucky when Garrett was a newborn and we cannot wait to do the same.
Bill & I were at A&M together but studied different specialities so we were casual friends. While working at YUM! in Kentucky our paths crossed again and it was like coming home hanging out with Bill & Jessamy. The Aggie spirit lives in all of us and it was just what Mitch & I needed.
When we reconnected I was pregnant with Garrett and they got to experience our life with him through 18months. Ironically we both left Louisville at the same time. Finally the Boyds have made their way back to Texas and we got to have them over for dinner this week.
After they left, Mitch and I agreed that hanging out with them felt like coming home. Now, we have a little bit of our Kentucky life back in Texas! We are so excited to meet Jonathan and payback the fellowship we received when we had the newborn.
Jessamy has promised to let me practice my picture taking on Jonathan so watch for pictures coming soon.
