Busted

I was officially busted this morning. Ever since the incident at the magic show we've had a back up Hoppy. I've been rotating him with the original for washings to attempt keeping a minimum level of germs in Garrett's mouth. So far, this has worked really well.

Until this weekend. Hoppy was being washed when Garrett asked for him so I pulled out Hoppy #2. What I forgot to do was get Hoppy #1 out of the laundry basket. And because I still haven't put up Garrett's laundry from Sunday guess who Garrett found this morning.

Our little guy came walking down the hallway with the biggest grin from ear to ear. He normally does not wake up so happy on a school day and then we saw TWO Hoppy's!!!!!


Garrett has named him "the other Hoppy" and is now asking for the other Bear, the other George, the other big Superman and the other big Spiderman who do not exist. I was able to convince him that the other Hoppy needed to stay at home and not go to school. I can only imagine the look on the directors face if instead of weaning him off of Hoppy he now has TWO!!

Not sure how I'm going to get out of this one. Gotta love when I'm not on my game! At least Garrett did not find Hoppy #3 who is still in the shipping box.
