Happy Birthday Project Life: A Giveaway to Celebrate

Print

I am so excited to be part of Becky's big celebration of Project Life's 3rd Birthday this week.  I believe deeply in her mission statement of "Cultivate a Good Life and Record It." I love Project Life for so many reasons. It provides a simplified approach to memory keeping, fulfills my creative needs and reminds me of the beauty in my everday life.

When I look back through my albums I see so much more of me than I ever have in my scrapbooking and that my friends is a very good thing. For the first time I am not only telling our story, I am in the story. Thank you, thank you, thank you Becky Higgins.

Now for the fun part, I get to give away two of my favorite Project Life Products. I have picked Design G & Design J to give away. All you have to do is leave a comment that shares something that made you laugh this week. I will close the comments on Friday at midnight CST.

Don't forget to include your email address so I can contact you and since these will be shipping from Amazon you need to have a U.S. mailing address to be eligible to win.

PPP - Design G 2123

PPP - Design J 2444

Don't forget to visit the rest of the Creative Team for twelve more chances to win some Project Life:

But wait, there is more! Today everyone is a winner. The creative team put together a set of quote cards that are available to everyone. Make sure you stop by Becky's Free Stuff to download  yours. Here is the one I contributed.

Good luck to everyone! I hope you enjoy the Creative Team Blog Hop & Quote Cards today.

My son Wilder made me laugh this week when his daddy sent me a video of him dancing and singing, microphone in hand, to the song "Baby Got Back." Yep, he did. He got it from the Yogi Bear Movie.

My daughter who is 10 made me laugh this morning when she was talking with her mouth full while waiting for the bus. I was making myself sound like her and then she laughed and we laughed together. She was laughing so hard at me making fun of her she started crying. Now that is a happy memory. Instead of nagging her about talking with her mouth full I got the point across in a funny fashion.

My 10-month old has been told over and over again not to play with my hair ties. Well, I had to use the bathroom so I closed the door on him much to his displeasure. I heard him toddle off (which always makes me nervous), but he was back 20 seconds later, grunting as he lowered himself to floor. Then, a chubby little hand thrust under the doorway with a hair tie clasped tightly within it. He waved it back and forth on the floor in front of me and then pulled it back giggling. Then the little hand reappeared under the door waving the hair tie again and with more giggles. I was laughing so hard as I washed my hands and went to retrieve the little man taunting me with his actions, "Look Mommy and see what I have....you better come out here and reprimand me." Love my little munchkin!

Spending the day with my best friend for her birthday! She always makes me laugh sometimes to the point of tears. We sat on the ledge of a fountain and asked strangers to take our picture, but what was even more fun was asking a lady to take a picture of us just chatting and laughing not even looking at the camera! I thought for sure she'd think we were crazy but as our luck would have it she was a photographer and thought the idea was awesome, taking a bunch of shots of us just cracking up and smiling about the odds of asking her to take the picture!

I saw this real long spider web strand (about 3 ft. long) hang on to the side view mirror as I drove around town on Monday! I thought, "What a tenacious strand and what a healthy constitution that spider must have had to build that strong of a strand!" Since there was a small web on the inside mirror, I can only assume as I drove from home, I interrupted the spider's work and he tried to hang on as long as he could! That made me laugh. someone knocked on our door late at night and my husband came flying around the corner from another neighbor's house in our car after i called in a panic. he had a highschool sr. boy with him who had already fallen out of the car. he wasn't hurt. the funny part is while my husband was hurrying to get here, he didn't notice that c.j. had opened the door to fly in (mind you he's 300+ lbs..a football player) in the passenger side while shawn was doing an 18 point turn with our suburban. he fell back out. they got here in time to find our neighbor who just wanted to tell me the football score because he was excited (and drunk). but it was at 10:45pm!!! sigh...
anyway, probably not as funny in a comment. but it was. trust me. it happened sunday night and i'm still laughing about it.

I laughed at seeing a photo of my boyfriend as a toddler. It's from a slide (almost too little to see his expression until we took it to the photo lab) and most of the other childhood photos had been destroyed. The expression on his face is priceless, and I can't wait to give him the 8x10 for his birthday this weekend. It's things like that that make me appreciate PL even more.

My two year old scaring off monsters by stomping his feet loudly made me laugh tonight. :) Thanks.

my almost two year old loves Toy Story....we were in Target, cruising around the store and he suddenly speaks a jumbled up "can u hear me?" I look at him and he's holding one end of the seat belt in the cart up to his mouth like a microphone...imitating Woody at the staff meeting before Andy's Birthday...Made me laugh so hard.
"can u hear me?"

I have a group of girlfriends from long long time ago. One of them moved 2 years ago and this week is in town to visit so yesterday we got together and had a great time remembering a lot of things we had shared all this time. We had some good laughs!! It felt so good!
Thanks for the chance to win and also for making me smile just remembering the laughs we shared yesterday!!!

I teach Pre-K and our school has a bi-weekly fruit and vegetable snack to promote trying new foods. Our snack on Tuesday was lemons. We sat together and on the count of three, tried the lemon wedge. Their faces were priceless!

This morning my daughter emailed me that with her quarterly bonus she's off to buy a purse she's been saving for. That gave me a chuckle. She's come a long way now that she's a working girl.

This has been a tough week, but my girl (3) and the songs she's making up lately always bring a smile and giggles. Thanks for the chance!

Something that made me laugh... oh my kids make me laugh every day. :) Today my little girl (16 months) started pretending to pick something off the ground and hand it to me - over and over and over.... a new little game. Each time she died laughing when I took it from her - I couldn't get over the giggles myself. :)

Laugh at myself....and my misplacing items...later finding it right there in front of me. You know, when you are working on a PL page and can't find that tiny embellishment you just had in your hand!!!

My five year old asked me if I was angry because he used my diarrhea to write a story. I'd never really thought about it, but I guess "diarreha" and "diary" do sound kind of alike. ; )
