Hello Friday & a Studio Calico Giveaway

Last night I decided to break apart several of my 2010 & my January 2011 Studio Calico kits. I was keeping a dozen past kits + the current one on my desk. But in my effort to better use what I decided to only keep together 5 past kits + the current one on my desk together. This gives me enough selection of ready to go, easy to scrap with kits and let's me sprinkle the Studio Calico goodness into my supplies.

What this means for you is that I have a box of bits of Studio Calico kits (that have never been used) to giveaway.

Oh how nice of you to do this! The supplies look wonderful! I had a "moment" this week when my 12-year-old daughter found a picture of herself and said, "You know mom I look like you in this picture!" (and she kind of had a smile on her face.) :-) Thanks for the chance!

Thank you so much for the opportunity! A robin built her nest up inside of the umbrella on our patio table. We have been checking on it periodically once we found that there were three eggs in it. They hatched this week! One per day (Tues, Wed & Thurs) and now we are watching this nest even more closely to make sure those baby birds survive & take flight! My kids are amazed. I am too! Thanks again!

Ooh, thank you for the chance! This past week, my 1.5 year old son learned to blow kisses. So sweet!! My heart melts a little bit each time :)

thank you for the chance to win all those wonderful supplies! I had a moment just this morning as my children who will claim they can't stand each other were trying to figure out who did it in a Scooby Doo cartoon. My daughter (11) told my son (9)..."you know, this is kind of fun to do with you"...my son responded "i know, it is like our thing"...I love when they bond

Thank you for the chance to win! The papers look so cute. My "little thing that has put a smile on my face" is reading at night with my dog on the bed. She began to snore and I just had to laugh!

Thanks for the chance to win! I've just stumbled across your blog and love it! My moment this week was after my boy came out of surgery, he looked at me, and said 'I was brave today mom'. He completely melts my heart!

What a sweet giveaway! Thanks so much! The BIGGEST smile that was put on my face this week was when my daughter FINALLY called me ma-ma. She is 1.5 years old and has been saying a lot, but this has been the first week that she started calling for me.

My sweet dog had surgery on her knee two weeks ago and last night I was noticing how much more comfortable she is. It hurts me to see her in pain or uncomfortable so it is such a welcome relief to see her relaxed and happy.

After living with no a/c for two days, the a/c guy put a smile on my face this week when he fixed it. :) My kids and I were all getting a little grumpy. The supplies are all lovely, thanks for the opportunity.

We had a serious rainstorm this week complete with all the wind, lightning and thunder. Our power didn't go out but we thought it should have so hubby switched off the power and we all sat in the dark and watched the lightning and talked and laughed. That put a smile on my face but the best part was that it took the kids almost an hour to realize that the other houses still had power...we are still smiling about that;)

Those are great goodies! I found your blog from Becky Higgins' site.

My girls (20mo. & 3 1/2) have been real affectionate to one another. It melts my heart to see them be so kind to one another.

My five year old daughter announced at dinner tonight that she "loves all her family and even her doggies." It made her brothers stop arguing on the spot! Loved it!

Spending time with my family!

Sorry you can't find a use for all those 'girlie' items....what better than to give them to someone that can.

I have a 16 month old little man of my own, and this week we discovered a new tickle spot right under his chin. It made him laugh so hard, which of course put more than a little smile on my face :) Thanks so much for the opportunity to win some of your lovely Studio Calico stash!

My moment this week...my 4-year was up all night sick and throwing up. (That wasn't the special part!) She is so busy and on the go all the time... I cherished the time to hold her and snuggle. So, I was sorry she was feeling awful, but not sorry she wanted her mommy. :)
Thank you for the chance to win such great goodies!!

I work at a year round school and classes started last week. One kindergarten girl saw me when her mom registered and has told me everytime she sees me, "I know you!" Such a little connection, but so fun to see. :)

I'm taking pictures for A Week in the Life this week, so I'm just enjoying the little things in life, like my almost two-year-old running to me when I come downstairs in the morning.

Meeting with a like minded person with similar goals…hoping to help out young girls in need. It's nice to know you're not alone on the battlefield :) Plus, the shared meal was splendid!

Thanks for the chance. My two-year-old wrapped his arms around me and said, "I love you so much mommy." Doesn't get much better than that.

So nice to have a chance to win. My smile moment came while going through things at my mom's, who passed away in June, home. She kept all of the handmade cards I made when little. Made me smile!

Fun! How nice to find a fellow "accountant by day" scrapbooker by night"! I am a recovering big 6 manager - scaled it down a bit post children.
What made me laugh this week was the Murdoch hearings in England - the pie in the face was an unexpected development!

My little girl turned three on Monday and I just had this great realization about how much motherhood has changed the way I live my life... In such a GOOD way. I want to make sure I document this everyday for my kids and for myself, life moves so fast.

Love your blog and thanks for all your inspiration! I am happy as I got new category drawers and it totally inspired me to use Project Life page protectors to make an awesome layout of me being an aunt to some amazing nieces and nephews. That's what I love about scrapbooking!
