Back on the Horse

I honestly can't remember the last time I scrapped.

While cleaning my desk this week, I found this unfinished layout & last night I decided to jump back into my craft and finish it up.

All products came from the Studio Calico kits, Over the Rainbow, Yearbook, & Orchestra. I was so proud of myself for letting the flower go off the page. To help it fit in my page protector I cut a little slit & now it peeks out a bit.

The journaling reads:
Garrett you are my sweet angel. There is always a twinkle in your eye, laughter in your voice & a smile on your face. You are the joy in our lives. My wish for you is to always have a happy heart. Love Mom

I'm always mentioning this to Mitch & glad to finally get this down about him. Even now as he was threatened with a trash bag to tidy his playroom if he didn't get busy I hear him laughing, singing & talking to himself. It makes me so happy to know he's a happy guy.

I'm off to inspect/help his efforts of tidying but I hope to get crafty again very soon!

I love to hear that. Caden (my son) is a happy kid too. When he was little he would entertain himself with really small toys from A Bug's Life movie and he was always humming to himself. I do the same thing. A happy child is a gift:)
