I Am Notoriously Known

for being terrible about remembering birthdays, anniversaries, special days, etc. I'm starting to think it's because I'm just not that great of a card maker. I seem to remember being much better at remembering these days when I used to buy my cards.

Perhaps it's just the fact that my brain is becoming Swiss cheese. It may be a tossup.

Today I finally sent off my in-laws Mother's & Father's Day gift. Yes, you read correctly. And yes, I know that we are almost in mid August! I truly have the best of intentions but stink at execution when it comes to not only remembering special days but getting to the post and sending things to loved ones that are waiting for departure in my home.

I suppose you can't win them all, right?

Since I can't just yet show you their gift, that I'm really thinking they will adore, I will show you the card that went with the gift.

See how I side stepped the whole, here's a card to celebrate an event that occurred months ago, embarrassment on the front of the card? Yup, I've had lots of practice!

Last night Garrett told me "Mama, did you know that little hands can make a big difference?"

I'm cooking up something to show him how right he is. I can't wait to involve everyone but I'm still gathering details. Be sure of it though, I will be asking for your help in a very big, little way.
